These are the quills of the African porcupine.
These skinny quills are those that are culled from our premium quills. Although they are not broken or damaged, they are less than 1/8" in diameter. Measures approx. 8" and up.
Great for cutting into tube beads, decorating and often used for fishing floats.
Considered a good luck charm in Africa, these quills come from the African Crested Porcupine. This species weighs around 60 pounds, much larger than our North American species.
