These are super sharp little thread trimmers that work great to get a clean cut on the end of your thread when threading a small beading needle or for cutting small pieces of fabric, yarn or leather.

They spring open, which is nice when doing repetitive cuts like trimming ribbons or fringe, and includes a protective cap that also keeps them closed.
